"I've been training with Master Johnson for 8 years with my husband Nick. We trained in the Leamington club for 3 years before moving 'North', and we both just achieved our 4th Dan qualification last year. I started Tang Soo Do to improve my health and fitness (without spending tedious hours on a treadmill!), but have subsequently come to love the art for its beauty & the challenges it gives me. I am fascinated by the fact that there is always something new to learn. Work commitments meant that we had to leave the Midlands in 2002, but we were keen to keep training, so I started my own classes in the Harrogate area. 5 Years later the club is flourishing and I am now a full time professional instructor"

JUNE GRADINGS

Well done to everyone who passed their grading on the 22nd June. We are really proud of our new 1st Dans, Toby Hillary, Sam & Ben Myerson, Harry Street, Faizan Siraj, Dhruv Uppal and Lucy Smith. Big well done also to Nick Brown, Dave Baker and Andy Kendrick who achieved 2nd Dan, plus congratulations to Tariq Malik and Ray Smith who are now 3rd Dan. JOSH & LUKE PATERSON

Josh & Luke were selected by Master Johnson at the grading to be our Students of the Month for July. They both performed brilliantly in a hard grading, Josh showed great confidence and Luke led the way for the whole group. Both boys worked really hard, and I have no doubt that their regular class attendance (at least 3 times a week) was what set them appart on the day. Keep up the hard work boys, we can't wait until you become Dan Grades KONG SOO!
